What kind of litter can I pour into it?

All litter kind would work but we highly recommend to avoid the crystal litter! We recommend maintaining a litter depth right below the limit line for optimal performance and waste separation.

How often do I need to empty the waste compartment?

The frequency depends on the number of cats and their usage, but typically the waste compartment needs emptying every 12-14 days for one cat, 6-7 days for two. The mobile app will send you notifications when it's time to empty the compartment, so you'll never have to guess or deal with unpleasant surprises.

I can wholeheartedly recommend these. I saw them advertised on Instagram and bought one of the Tail Caves hoping that one of my cats might use it to keep warmer during the winter.
